2024-2025
The new pedestrian footbridge in Crissier features lighting designed for both everyday use and the aesthetic enhancement of the structure.
Integrated LED strips within the handrails provide continuous, comfortable lighting for pedestrians. The light follows the path without causing glare. Positioned low and precisely diffused, the LEDs do not disturb motorists driving on the RC 179 road below.
This lighting system was carefully selected. It ensures user safety, maintains a soft nighttime atmosphere, and blends discreetly into the structure.
Additional localized lighting is installed near the elevators. It improves visibility at access points and ensures full continuity of use along the route—even at night.
