About This Project

The promenade is being redeveloped with the aim of creating a calmer, fully pedestrian-friendly space. The lighting environments designed for the promenade address a dual objective: ensuring safe nighttime circulation while giving the area a distinct pedestrian identity.

To enhance the pedestrian experience along the promenade and animate the public space, a bespoke ambient lighting column has been designed. The column includes a special module projecting random patterns onto the ground, reminiscent of water ripples, echoing the presence of the Morge River that runs through the centre of Voiron.
