About This Project

As part of the lighting renovation project at ENSACF (École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Clermont-Ferrand), we redesigned the interior lighting environments.

The goal: to provide lighting that is both comfortable and energy-efficient, fully adapted to the building’s uses. To achieve this, we implemented simple, effective, and durable solutions.

We first ensured uniform lighting levels on the floor, in line with current standards. Then, we focused on visual comfort by selecting low-glare optics and high color rendering luminaires.

All fixtures are daylight-responsive and connected to presence detectors. This system, used in corridors, classrooms, and staircases, helps reduce energy consumption during the day and when spaces are unoccupied.

Additionally, we selected long-life, easily replaceable light sources to ensure durability and ease of maintenance.

Through this project, we reaffirm our commitment to eco-responsible lighting. We combine innovative lighting technologies with energy efficiency, while ensuring a high-quality lighting experience for users.
