2024-2025
This Shoah Memorial in Lyon stands as a powerful symbol of remembrance. Its design is simple, yet rich in meaning—a clear, deep, and thoughtful gesture. The lighting follows the same intent: humble, respectful, and precise.
A first frontal light, positioned in upward angle, highlights the polished rail ends and engraved lettering. This illumination anchors the monument within the public space and enhances its visibility.
A second light, centrally placed, shines inside the monument. Also upward-facing, it reveals the depth of the structure. The LED strips are mounted on a drawer system, making them easy to access and maintain, while remaining discreet.
This internal lighting gives volume and dimension to the memorial’s architecture. It creates an almost intimate glow that amplifies the emotional impact of the space.
