The station’s night forecourt, urban gateway to the city
The major TESO urban project involves the transformation of the Matabiau station into a multimodal interchange hub as well as the redevlopment of the Matabiau/Marengo/Raynal district. The historic forecourt station unifies the spaces (covering the Canal du Midi) and reduces the presence of cars. The lighting is used to serve the new planning and supports the announced modernity by offering a masterful lighting scenography. Six large light poles with an original design encomapass this new attraction in the city.
