A city centre that reveals itself at night, along the water

Following a study mission concerning the “enhancement and lighting of sites and buildings located on the community territory and presenting a tourist interest” carried out from January to March 2014 by Skertzo / 9b+ and LEA, the Urban Community of Châlons-en-Champagne decided to entrust the Skertzo/LEA group with the project management for the enhancement and lighting of the city’s tourist sites and buildings. Water and the canals of Châlons-en-Champagne are the main themes of these routes. The programme is spread over five years – until 2019 – with each year revealing a little more of the remarkable architectural and river heritage of Châlons-en-Champagne in their nocturnal temporality.
